Get to know our members who love to meet new friends.
Every month on the last Saturday we have a Covered Dish Picnic at one of the
Tampa Bay Area's beautiful parks (always near a "facility" for us older gents).
Every week we dine-out for lunch, brunch, or dinner at various cafes
and restaurants throughout the Bay area.
There is a monthly Games Night and Movie Night.
A Spring Indoor Picnic at the Pinellas Park Auditorium in February 2011 was well attended with lots of food and refreshment. Music from a grand Wurlitzer Organ played by volunteer organmaster 'Cliff'. And our own Joe J. playing the accordion kept us well entertained.
Our Winter 2011Holiday Dinner and White Elephant Exechange at
Harold Seltzer's Steakhouse was great fun. Fellow member Frank R. started the carolling as others joined in before dinner.
A sound so very beautiful! Such deep Bass voices! Who would have known!
The gift exchange went quickly as wrapping papers were ripped and strewn over the dining tables. Following Dinner we were splendidly entertained by the
U-V-Rays from the Una-Voce Florida Men's Chorus.
On Valentines Day this year (2012) - 25 hearty Prime Timers joined with members of the Tampa Pharaohs and others of Lambda from Clearwater for
a 2 hour dinner cruise on the Starlight Princess out of So. Pasadena. Everyone enjoyed a great time and wonderful meal prepared right on the boat.
